Simply delicious and easy to make. I started by boiling the beets until tender, mixed balsamic vinegar, chopped onions, salt and Black pepper then added the chunks of beets and mixed all together. When serving, I would recommend to serve carefully using another plate as beets can be messy and can take away the beauty of the plate.
Yes, the time is approaching and is approaching fast. This is the second to last quilting block with these prints contrast I have been creating for several weeks. Stay tuned because next week the final quilting block with these patterns will be shown in my blog and from there we go to new adventures.
It is funny to me, how when I am trying to accomplish certain things, patterns, designs, etc..I will be the one over analyzing every angle of it. The main reason I do this is because I want to make sure that whatever project I am working on does not look like something else (sometimes I fail) and although no one else can tell, I always have in the back of my head the thought: Oh, no! It looks like....=\. Anyway, when digging in my box of crochet materials, I found these marvelous yarn rolls perfectly shaped to be one on top of the other and don't even get me started on the colors (Black being my favorite) and while many know a man called 'Snow Man' well tell him that the 'Yarn Man' has arrived.
This mixed color yarn, I think is awesome, I love the contrast of these colors specially the Brown against the dark Orange. I ended up making another coaster for my White desk and it's just the right amount of color for my very neutral decor.
Here is the final project from last week materials shown here. I took this pic with my Galaxy phone one night on my way home, I had to stop and take this pic, the moon was perfectly centered in the empty space of the tree. Life is better by the minute specially when you make time to admire Jehovah's creation. Cute butterfly too, I love it!
I am very excited about this! As much I love my fruits and vegetables, why not eat them organic? I used to be a vegetarian for a long time and I enjoyed it. I decided to stop because I am really not that discipline and I had a very strict schedule to follow for the food and the time I was eating, and the supplements were out of my budget at the time. I do have to say that after those years of being a vegetarian my love for fruits and vegetables increased immensely. Although organic is more expensive it only makes sense for me to give it a try because of the amount of fruits and vegetables I eat on a daily bases. So there it is, I am trying organic and I hope to stick to it for a long time.
