I finally hung the last pieces of art in my living room, a simple block of color in a soft, neutral tan.
It’s minimalist in the best way, quietly grounding the space without demanding too much attention.
The hue blends beautifully with the rest of the decor, offering a gentle warmth that complements the natural light that filters in during the day.
There’s something incredibly satisfying about the balance it brings. It’s clean, understated, and exactly what the space needed.
The large IKEA frames give the piece just enough visual weight to make a statement above the TV, while still keeping the atmosphere light and open. It’s a subtle touch, but it ties everything together.
What About The Color Of The Art?
The tan color I chose has quickly become one of my favorite elements in the room. It’s warm without being too yellow, soft without feeling washed out a perfect middle ground that adds depth while keeping everything grounded.
There’s a quiet sophistication to it, almost like a whisper of color that lets the textures and shapes in the room speak for themselves.
It pairs effortlessly with the natural tones of my furniture and textiles, and somehow makes the space feel both curated and relaxed.
Now that these pieces are up, the entire living room feels complete. There’s a calmness to it, a sense of cohesion that reflects how I want my home to feel intentional, comfortable, and truly reflective of me.
I’m so grateful for this growing community and the support I’ve found here.
It means the world to be able to share these little moments with you, and I can’t wait to keep bringing you along for what’s next.
